Day 1 – Arrival & Orientation

Day 2 – Academic Foundations

An overview of the academic culture and collegiate structure of Oxford and Cambridge.
• Inside Admissions: The Oxbridge Selection Process
Insight into the unique application, interview, and tutorial systems.
• Taster Seminar: Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE)
Experience a mini-lecture introducing Oxford’s world-renowned interdisciplinary degree.
• Introduction to Shakespeare
Explore the life, works, and enduring legacy of Shakespeare. Participants choose one play for in-depth study throughout the week.
Day 3 – Core Academic Skills
Theme: Thinking, Writing, and Expressing Ideas
• Masterclass: Academic Writing for University Success
Learn how to structure persuasive and analytical essays for top-tier university applications.
• Taster Session: Critical Thinking at Oxford
Develop the ability to construct, analyse, and challenge logical arguments.

Examine a chosen Shakespeare play through close reading and individual role study.
Day 4 – Presentation, Interview & Cultural Engagement

Day 5 – Research, Debate & Collaboration

Participate in or observe a debate modelled after Oxford’s historic Union format.

Day 6 – Culmination & Celebration
