Visit Oxford’s iconic landmarks, including the Bodleian Library, Radcliffe Camera, and historic colleges.
• Team Challenge: Oxford Treasure Hunt
An interactive exploration activity designed to help students discover Oxford’s heritage while developing teamwork and observation skills.
Day 2 – Foundations of Academic Research
Theme: Curiosity, Inquiry, and Innovation
• Masterclass: Introduction to Academic Research
Led by an Oxford professor, this session introduces the principles, ethics, and methodologies that underpin university-level research.
• Industry Visit: AI & BMW Innovation Centre
A field visit offering insights into how artificial intelligence and advanced engineering drive innovation within modern industries.
Day 3 – Masterclass: Research Methods & Presentation Practice
Theme: From Questions to Communication
• Workshop: Research Design and Methodology
Develop the skills to formulate research questions, collect data, and structure academic findings effectively.
• Cultural Visit: Ashmolean Museum of Art and Archaeology
Engage with Oxford’s world-class museum to understand how artefacts and cultural history inform academic inquiry.
• Group Activity: Research Presentation Practice
Participants prepare and deliver short research presentations, receiving constructive feedback from academic tutors to enhance communication and confidence.
Day 4 – Cross-Subject Learning & Masterclass
Theme: Bridging Disciplines – The Oxford Way
• Masterclass: Collaborative Cross-Subject Project
Students work in interdisciplinary teams to investigate shared research themes and present integrated academic perspectives.
• Taster Academic Session: Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE)
Experience Oxford’s signature interdisciplinary degree, exploring how philosophical reasoning, political analysis, and economic theory interconnect to address global challenges.
Day 5 – Future Pathways & Awards
Theme: Building Your Academic and Professional Future
• Masterclass: Oxford Postgraduate and Career Pathways
An interactive session exploring postgraduate opportunities, research degrees, and global career trajectories through the University of Oxford.
• Group Presentations and Feedback Session
Final research and cross-subject projects are presented to academic mentors and peers, demonstrating skills in analysis, synthesis, and collaboration.
• Closing Awards and Certification Ceremony
Recognition of outstanding academic performance, teamwork, and innovation. Certificates of completion are formally presented to participants.
Day 6 – Shakespeare & Departure
Theme: Cultural Reflection and Farewell
• Morning Excursion: Visit to Shakespeare’s Birthplace (Stratford-upon-Avon)
A cultural journey to explore the life, works, and legacy of England’s greatest playwright.
• Reflection Session: Academic Visions and Future Goals
Guided reflection led by programme mentors to consolidate learning outcomes and inspire future academic pursuits.
• Check-Out and Departure
